Hi all
My van has been off the road for a very long time, and it's been even longer since we did a service / filter change. I could have sworn I kept the torn off lids from the boxes, from the previously used filters, so we'd know what we used, but then I apparently put them in a VERY safe place. We can't see the part number for the fuel filter, unless we remove it. Hubby is searching online for filters, and going around in circles, fair bit of muttering and swearing going on too, and local motor factors are mostly shrugging their shoulders. The van came with a JX engine, we have since replaced with an AAZ. He wants to know, do we stick with a JX compatible filter (Mahle KC18) or go with an AAZ filter All the AAZ filters we can find seem to be inline filters, not spin on. We *think* the one that's on it is a Mahle KC38, but as mentioned, it's hard to read/impossible to see without removing it.. But looking up the KC38 online, it comes up for tractors, JCB's etc, which doesn't sound right? What are other AAZ owners using? |
