Topic: Van Stolen - Bristol Posted: 19 Sep 07 at 14:12 |
Nowt to do with me as its lifted from VZi but thought it was worth posting on here. Scary the amount of vans being stolen recently: Dear All,
beloved aircooled 2lt 1982 T3 high top nicked from "secure" parking at
my flat in Bristol last night- whilst I was there! Sadly almost
certainly targeted, as was invisible from road.
Any sightings or info please let me know asap.
Not sure how to attach/ insert photos. Any advice gratefully received. Description as follows....
blue up to windows, then white, white hightop with blue flash to
rear... good bodywork, chrome filler cap, black plastic cap missing off
front bumper drivers side, blue check curtains, front seats tan
coloured range rover ones, reg FUG 932Y
Lots of memories and money put into this, so your help much appreciated.
Cheers,
Owenslat

Sorry to hear about that - Ditto to all of the above and a few more!!! I've also got a few guys driving in and around Bristol, I'll get them to keep an eye out as well.
Sad truth is it's probably either in some wooded park burnt out or stripped for parts
But lets hope for the best

Result.
But saying that no doubt due to our wonderful justice system and the CPS probably needing more evidence to prove the twat nicked it(even though he was caught driving it)the thieving clopper will be walking the streets again today.
Anyway glad he's got his van back.

Great news! ... the thief must be an idiot to nick a vehicle that is so obvious and stands out ...As others have said ...hope the Police and Magistrate throw the book at him/her!
