Nicely spotted Youthy Giblets. Got a nice engine conversion, especially with the new gearbox. Nice coating of waxoil everywhere too. Just been refitting the interior atm.

Hi all, Just bought my first wedge project, a 1980 1600cc air cooled Panel, in Bamboo Yellow (Well i think that's what it was, looks like its had a bit of different paint here and there)

Its got cancer in the usual places, so I'm going to be busy with the grinder and the welder
Its been off the road for over 6 years, and has had 2 owners from new, looks like its spent most of its time down the farm. Anyway, if someone could point me to a thread where someone replaces the bottom 12in's of the vans panels, that would be great Embarrassed

Had to put mine up! One question thought if anyone can answer it, why doesnt mine have the two vents in the rear panels? Ive seen older and new vans with them just wondered why not mine.
