Hi Pete,

I also have the cab comfort pack but I have carpet in the front as you have the rubber.

Did you ask for the rubber flooring ?

Kev its strange you should mention that as today it clicked I didn't have carpet and was sure I should have, hmm me thinks a phone call is on the cards.
BVM Can't remember off the top off me head how much the swivel option was but it was option price -12% as for the phone cradle it's for my nokia 5.1 thought it would match the vanLOL Well it could also be for the iphone 4 but do agree it looks a bit pants.

Here is some pictures of our finished surfbus! (alright there's a tiny bit of carpeting to doWink) its a 2004 1.9TDI 102BHP T30 in postman pat red! with 130,000 miles on the clock.

We had a similar van back home in UK, but had to sell to make the move out here.... although it now looks like we'll be returning in DecemberShocked, not before a good long road trip though!

Cheers
Alex

Agreed. I like the sliding doors, not something I had thought about but looks very practical.

Good job.

Cheers guys, it's been a good winter project and a lot of thought has gone in to doing something a little different.. hence the top loader fridge to make space under the sink for storage of food and pots and pans etc. and the sliding doors so I can get in the cabinets with the bed down.

Finally got my T32 17" steelies wrapped in some rubber and fitted them at the weekend:
- smooth hammerite'd black
- a shitload of tyre black shine stuff (CG trim stuff IIRC)
- Falken ST/Z01 235/55/17 103W rubber
- almost identical (to with 3mm) diameter to my winter 16" with 215/65/16 winter tyres

That's hopefully the final touches to my exterior after the conversion last year. Actually that's a lie, I've already got plans to tidy up my bike rack and give it the black hammerite treatment too, plus sort out my driver's sidebar where the powdercoating has flaked off.

They turned out a far better finish than I expected, given that I applied the hammerite by brush lol. Just took my time and applied a couple of thin coats. Oh, plus a couple of coats of Collinite #476 wax!

I need to sort out my winter 16" steelies now too as they look shocking in comparison.
