Smoking 1900 air cooled 1982 vanogan tips to fix

   Hi guys / girlsI recently bought a 1982 air cooled vanogan (gasoline)  and but it smokes especially when idling after driving for 30min to an hour...I would pull up to a stop light and see alot of light blue smoke coming out the exhaust. Any ideas on how to fix?

	Burning oil, either rings, bore wear or valve guides. Compression test will tell you which. Hope you get it sorted. George
