Hi,

We are new owners of a 1979 LT28. Bought as a project (our first), with plans to restore it to its former glory and provide many family holidays. :)

We want to change the interior a little and our first job is to remove the shower. My brother was over the other day and he said that i need to make sure that the shower is not providing structural support... this is not something i had considered.

I dont think the shower does provide any structural support but thought i should check before i plow in! Can anyone advise?

Thanks very much.

Your brother is having a laugh, surely.

?How can a shower provide structural support to a welded metal commercial vehicle?Confused

You should be able to take everything out down to the outer shell, that is not original and still be able to drive it.

Welcome, and think yourself lucky you did not buy a TeeThree and ask that lot.Wink
