Hi, I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place.
My 2.5 LT35 (03) seems to have lost voltage at the heater plugs. I have removed the relay(2D0 911 253) and with the cover removed and just the low current plug (ECU side) connected the relay is not moving. As there is a small circuit board on the coil side of the relay I'm a little hesitant to plonk 12v onto it. The coil itself has a resistance of 670 ohms. The low current (coil side of the relay) plug uses pins T 31 15 Is it possible to put 12v onto any of these pins to check the relay? It would seem that the ECU supplies the coil voltage after some temperature checks. What else should I be checking before deciding that the relay is at fault. The heater light on the dashboard comes on and goes off as normal. Many thanks for any pointers |
