Can you fit clocks from a diesel to a petrol? I assume that only the thing would be that the Glow Plug light wont work?

Rev counter has different face, but will probably work (incorrectly) The circuit board / foil on both petrol and diesel clocks is the same part, so will be interested to know what happens when you plug it in. NOTE.... pre `85 clocks are completely different to the later ones, they have  alot more wires in the multi-connector.
