woke up this morning to an empty spot on the drive, my medium blue t3 G675PWT, 16" merc steel wheels, lowered on -70mm avo's, saab beige leather front seats, camper interior, fiamma bike rack on the back.

FOUND!!! thanks to the power of t'interweb / social media! someone spotted it parked up in a nearby village who'd seen a post on facebook about it.
been recovered by the police and is now awaiting forensics etc. i've not seen it yet, but just glad it's been found! massive thanks to anyone who shared it on facebook / forums / word of mouth etc. etc. can't wait to tell the kids in the morning!!!

i've not seen it yet. it was recovered last night (i was at the pub - standard!)
just in the process of talking to the insurers (kinetic via flux) about getting it assessed. i'm hoping they let me have it privately assessed by a local vw camper resto company that i know rather than by their own assessors...less likely to be written off then if there is damage maybe? it was found only 3 miles away so i'm hoping that it's not been ragged or damaged too much, just driven and left to see if it had a tracker etc. deffo going to invest in some additional security measures when i get it back. any recommendations? i've had a look on maplin and they sell a hard wired tracker for £50 that looks ok. might get some cctv on the drive as well.
