Anyone any idea as to the RAL paint code for the Bundeswehr Doka?
I have great difficulty distinguishing between shades of dark colours.....  |

For some reason my local paint merchant is unable to supply me with RAL 6031, Bronzegrun.... Anybody any ideas??? |

There seems to be a stigma attached to RAL 6031.
Just called the fine folks who deal with Rustoleum, he's going to see if the formula can be done. Bodyshop quoted 15 quid for 400ml of aerosol, can spray for toffee though... |

Ive got paint from www.expresspaints.co.uk before mixed to a vw code no probs. might be worth a try ?? very helpfull people there.

well i read bundeswehr and immidiatly thought of them orange catastophy wagons?

think you mean the feuerwehr orange firebus jobbies! mine is the army green Doka type jobby.
i'd like to keep the colour as it was, only a portion of the van needs doing... someone on eBay has said they can mix me it up to correct colour..... |

quick update, a company called Trade Paints UK have made me some RAL 6031 matt paint, £30 delivered for 2.5 litres.
they are on eBay too, i can recommend the service, very fast, as for the quality of the paint, we will find out shortly. |
