Hi there. I have been given some Audi wheels. The spec on the wheels is J7x16 HZ and the ET is 45. The tyres are 205/55/16. I think that I need to buy 20mm spacers. Can anybody confirm this for me as it seems like a large spacer? The bus has not been lowered and the wheels fit fine on the back. Any tips or info would be welcomed.
Also was wondering what size bolts would be needed at the front as am not sure what the standard is? Thanks for any help.

Posting in the T3 Wheel Help section would help.
*Moved*
There's loads of info for that size wheel in here.
Try looking in the pinned threads at the top....but yes 15mm-20mm spacers would be ok.

Oh and the load rating of the alloys and tyres is very important too.
Are they genuine Audi or Asian copies made from cheese? Edited by Steve B - 09 Feb 10 at 20:52 |

Genuine Audi. You may have noticed I am new to this forum! I am more concerned about getting them on the bus first and then if i have to get some more tyres I will cross that bridge. ( that is not supposed to be a sarcastic comment)

Not taken as such but they will more than likely be 91 load rated tyres which isn't high enough for a 2+ ton T3. So it's going to cost you at least £160 for the new tyres plus the cost of longer studs, bolts and spacers.
Just so you know what those wheels you've been given may cost you in the end.

Yeah they were already done. at 67mm. They were meant for a T2 but didn't suit it.
