Early metal water pipe in engine bay

Will this pipe fit the early system on an 83 1.9DG?

 
I ask because the one on my van is beginning to look a bit ropey.
 
Below is another picture of one of these pipes off a van. I have doctored it to show how different it is from my pipe.
 

In it you can see there is an extra pipe union I don't have marked with a red X but it is missing a pipe union I have drawn on in black. This pipe goes to the LPG vapouriser.

Could I then utilise that extra pipe marked with the red X to take the pipe to the LPG vapouriser?

Found out that the C suffix part is for a DF and D was for a DG

Could I use the DF pipe on a DG?I don't see why it should matter that the take off position for the hose to the carb is in a different place??
