The only thing that cheers me up is that It's got stainless steel security fastenings fitted to lamps, hinges, mirrors etc. So if they try and part it they won't actually be able to unbolt much - HAhA. Bast*rds!

Un-fucking-believable!

I really hope you find it and the cunt who nicked it. I truly believe that the first van that gets nicked with a tracker is going to unearth alot of vans.

Perhaps a stern yet subtle word to the readers regarding van security?

All the best, I've been through this and know how much it sucks.

Cheers.

Yes a security feature is very definately on the cards. It was only this morning I mentioned the words TRACKER! And I wasn't talking about the cereal bar or the type of mortgage - Bast*rds!

Problem is, security devices will only stop chancers and amatures. I'm becoming quite convinced of an organised unit of in-the-know professional thiefs, nicking vans and making them vanish. That or migrant workers returning home on 5am ferries and taking vans that are within a two/three hour drive of Dover, Portsmouth or Harwich.

I'm currently compiling a quick report to give to the 'Safer Neighbourhood' team at the local nicker to highlight the problem a little more. It may be futile or it may help, but whilst I look for my In-Laws Bay, as well as all the others, it'll feel pro-active!

P.s. As I said, I've been through this and fortunately got my van back so any help with any article would be no trouble.
