Found! Police have recovered it from near Buckingham. Not sure of any damage yet, as forensics are still all over it, but it's safe.

It's been found, but I haven't been allowed to see it yet as the police are still investigating. All the call centre have told me is that it was found in a hedge and had hit a tree. I don't know if that means full on into a tree or a light brush with a sapling. Could be a scratch, could be a write off......I'm quite happy they've found it regardless. The thought of it just disappearing never to be seen again is worse than the potential of a write off in my mind. At least I know what's happened to it now.
