Just spent this weekend away in the bus and felt compelled to express my love for my bus!

Have done over 500 miles in 3 days including Taunton ( cheers James!) Glastonbury, then up to
Stanford Hall before heading home. We slept in it , cooked in it, and still felt relaxed enough when we got back to nip down the pub in it! It looks good enough to get get nods of approval and thumbs up from a really varied group of onlookers

And it's still my daily, I pick my kid up from school in it, and drag stuff down the tip in it

Perfect!

LOL

Interestingly, it sits about the same level as yours now
In fact... looking at it, about the same level as the pic on the Dutch beach in my signature (piled up with parts that time!)

I really should check what the max weight is on my van

2.1 + Auto = MANY service stations on the way though! Shocked

Same as mine mate! Only I have the added pleasure of USA smog shite on top!
Hence James72's comment above , as I was bitching about it so much!

You'll be glad to hear he told me to stop being a girl, and get on with it!

yup got to agree, my van has done 350 miles since friday morning dashing here and there with stuff in being-a-van mode

then up to Snetterton, a lap of Snetterton in pretend-racing-car mode

off to the Brook Meadow campsite and slept over there saturday night in camping-mode

then on to Stanford Hall sunday to be in tart's-handbag mode

and back home - then monday it went back into daily-mode

gotta love it Thumbs Up

mine had a hiccup last weekend....failed to start first time...first time in 4yrs.

35p fuse fixed it.

this weekend we did a 400mile round trip to Norfolk coast....went like a dream
although the road from the midlands to the "far east" is a windy one....it was great to drive the bus at a steady 50-60 whilst most people were at home watching two posh cockneys get married.

for once the capsite (caravan club) was a bit naff...we got the last pitch on site which was not the best.....but still had a good time

thats 4 weekend on the bounce now camping...my missus has insisted that we cancel this weeks trip to Chatswort ( 1 nighter)...she fancies a weekend at home.

i getting to the stage that i struggle to sleep unless im 5ft high and surrounded by tin foilLOL
1989 westy Joker now with TDi
