Freed off my tracking adjuster and camber bolts prior to getting it set up on a machine tomorrow morning, and changed the leaking rubber filler neck thing. Glad to see replacements are still freely available & comparatively cheap

Discovered reason for complete loss of oil on my 45 Censored  -  ( sump rusted out )
Looking for easy fix any ideas ? Weld in situ ?   Removing sump would seem much more involved and don't think new gasket available ? Q: Are the oil resistant sillacone product's any good if used on there own?

Tracking & camber now set up, on one of those fancy modern Bosch contactless systems... all front axle adjustments were well out.

LT now all ready for a mini-road trip to Düsseldorf tomorrow evening

Took her to a local classic car show and was amazed by the interest. These old LT's are generating a lot of interest lately. I think it was the coachbuild quality that people liked.

Mot'ed her yesterday. Flew through and loads of praise from the tester, who said he hadn't ever seen a 30 year old LT in that good a condition. Praise indeed.

Plugged her into the mains ready to be used over the weekend for a spot of wild Worcestershire camping. Might be Shropshire if we can't find any decent Worcestershire coider farms!

It wasn't today, but to keep the topic alive here's what I've done in the past 5 days:

- installed LPG
- changed cam belt, tensioner, water pump and alternator belt
- cleaned up all over the interior and got it ready for a big trip to Hamburg

More things to come...

Widening my wheel arches with an angle grinder. Yup. Ready for the suspension lift and bigger wheels & tyres. Boy did I have to get my pluck up to make that first cut! Finished result is pretty much unnoticeable to the untrained eye which I'm pleased about but I want it better, so after I have filled the hole between the outer and inner sill at the front of the wheel arch on both sides with mesh I will be back at it with a file before painting. Fun and games

Well before we take the 'Big Lad' on our yearly snowboarding trip to Scotland I have to complete the following:-

New rear wheel bearings and seals.
New rear axle brake pipes
New front wheel bearings
New king pins
Flush the brake system through
New hand brake cables
Brakes clean and set up (as I cooked them going through Wales last month)
Radiator replace/Repair
Coolant system flush
Service
Sort driving lights out as they have failed and new lamps
Lag all the motorhome pipes/tanks as they froze last year
Rewire the mains leccy system
New flat screen in the bedroom
Paint the wheels.....all 6 of them
Sort the fuel filler neck as the breather must be blocked
Gear selector bushes and gators
Hand brake gator as i'm sick of getting a wet right arm

There is more but that'll do for this weekends work...........Gulp
