hi guys, i feel that my westy hobs are a bit slow to boil the kettle, now i`m running butane inside the van atm from bottles. i have heard that there are different regulators on the german westy underslung tank and dont know if this is my problem. has anyone researched as to whether an upgrade or mod is available to turbo my hob.

cheers lee.

Mine is fine, what regulator are you using?
The westy cooker expects 50mb, usual UK pressure is only 37mb.

Soulds like you need a 50mb reg to me, but I've not seen the van.

Sounds like time to upgrade to an underslung tank.
You will free up some valuable space, get a better working fridge and cooker and save bundles in cash if you use it regulary to boot.
If you do take the plunge make sure the regulator is included, ideally one with the BBQ take off.Wink
