They offer a genuine German job,  I think that comes from gunzl, the other hemp, cotton and acrylic ones are their own,  or made for them in the states.

hi peet sorting out a molding for that this weekend,as its needed when changing hightop and holdsworth roof but you can do it like minivtecs  done by using rubber strip,if you can get original side units from a westy they cover everything as well.

Hey fellas,
If you get the chance photos of the project would be fantastic.  I would love to see it done & then plan to do mine.  BTW, how much does it cost to get a roof unit to the States?

Good luck,
Brian

Hi
As to the canvas qualities.
The go westy canvas is made for them only and is by far the best quality available. They have many different colours and different materials at different prices.
JK canvas:you get whot you pay for.
Gunzels canvas well not nearly as good as go westy.
I have used all 3 and will now only fit the go westy one.

I am looking to get this kit myself but not quite sure what VW Venon is. Could you provide a link or a phone number I can call?
Do you possibly have the installation kit and does it have dimensions? Maybe I could try whipping it up myself?

Hi there,
I’ve read through this thread and found it really fascinating - I‘m in the process of looking to replace my canvas tent.
I have no intention of doing myself and I’m not at all savvy in that department.
I’ve seen the photos above and looked at what has been achieved on here. It’s absolutely amazing.

I’m just started looking at various internet companies that sell the canvas tents, I read where the above one was bought. What I’m struggling with is finding a company that actually fits them.

I remember at camperjam a few years ago, coming across a stall of a guy who fitted the tents. Never took the details then as I was only curious at the time. However, trying to find any company that does it, seems scarce.

Can anyone recommend websites to look on? Or has an idea of someone who actually fits them.

Thanks in advance,
Ruby
