my bloody van (1.9 wb doka  h reg) is leaking from where the rubber water pipe meets the plastic one , underneath, 

i fitted a extra jubilee clip in the hopes this would cure it , still leaking so i got underneath the bloody thing this am and separated the two cleaned them out there was a metal fitting that appeared to be knackerd and fell out , like a round metal grommit , so i cleaned it all off checked the pipe and refitted it , seemed fine . 

although when i got home was leaking again. 

is this under so much pressure that two jubilee clips are not sufficient to seal it or do i need to replace the pipe ? or alternatively do i drain it down and build it back up and tiger seal it ?
