Torbaysurfing.co.uk is running a petition to stop the local council placing parking meters along Paignton sea front where, during the winter months (it's closed for pedestrains throughout the summer), parking is currently free and it's great access for water users.

Ive signed it, but the best "help" i can give em is to get rid of the online petition, and do a proper petition, or protest...
Online petitions are too easu to ignore, and whilst they give an indication of the swing of public opinion, they dont inconvenience anyone... now a sack of letters on the councils doorstep, or a group of concerned individuals.. is much harder to ignore  good luck with it though |
