Hi

I am new to this list and need a little advice.

I have a "PRIDE CELEBRITY x SPORT" wich has broken down, the diagnostic lights indicate that it is the Speed Pot that has broken down.

The repairer said that he hasn't got a list of the diagnostic lights but then said that it is the Throttle Pot that has gone but has had to send away for the part as the connection is differant to the ones he has in the shop.

Can anyone tell me the differance in the two parts and also what is the average price of a throttle pot and a speed pot.

Thanks

Sorry that would have been me Embarrassed LOL

The throttle pot is the one that puts the scooter into forward or reverse but the speed pot is the one that sets you max speed Wink

There is a varied price on throttle pots from £10 posted to £135 without vat or postage Shocked so it pays to do your homework and shop around...

sorry, but again... what the fuck??

Is there nowhere else to ask about a knackered mobility scooter than on a forum for VW Transporters, LTs and Caddys???

I swear this place looks more like 80-90 every time I log in.

Now where the cross-stitch forum????

I hope that all you people that are taken the pee will not one day be in the position I am in, I certainly won't be recommending this site to anyone VW or not.
By the way my nephew 18 and his friend died from fumes in a VW so be careful.

i cant see where anyone has "taken the pee" out of you?

nobody has said "hahahaha your scooter is knackered!!!"

People have experessed their confusion at the first post from a new member of a VW Transporter forum being a quesion about fixing a mobility scooter, thats all.
