just had this email from darron that does the silver screens .
HI just to let you
know have now fitted new t5 /t6 carravelle front to my t5 looks well cool
will send some pics just been painted again at mo but back on friday we will
now be offering this upgrade for £1650 painted and fitted including all
parts,paintedto match your van colour so put word around also designing new pull
out bed system will have some info on that soon but there will be no rear
facing seat but a large parcel shelf take care send pics wknd p/s pushing t5,s
forward this year with some new stuff

Personally prefer the T5 look than the new model. But in theory, this means that going backwards is possible too.

Historically VW run their commercials for 12 years, give or take.
T1 ~ 55-67
T2 ~ 67-79
T3 ~ 79-91
T4 ~ 91-03
T5 ~ 03-15??
All have a face lift, technical improvements half way through their life.
Spilts got better indicators, bigger rear window and that in about '62
Bays got better engines, lights, brakes etc in '72 ish
Wedges got it in '85.
T4's got it in '96..
T5's got it in 2010!
