Hi, this is small topic of my Syncro project.

I found my Syncro  at Ivalo, Lapland Finland, 1117km from Helsinki where i live.

At start:
-92 Caravelle C syncro, 260tkm, one previoust owner, 2.1 DJ wbx, front and rear diff locks.

Everything was perfect but engine was not in running condition, little work and here is your problem:

New lifters, valve adjustments and just start the engine!

Here is picture how good the body is:
Almost no rust at all, just small damages from gravel...

Almost done:

Some underbody work:

New wheels and tyres:

Wheels are 15 x 7 ET 15, Tyres are Kumho KL 71 size: 30 x 9,5 R15

Now i have been working with the camping gear:

Some more:

And more:

Eberspächer heater installed:

More to come...

Nice syncro! The wheels certainly make the look :D  And that winch placement is very elegant too. How much power do you loose with those wheels?

You should take the ferry from Vasa to Umeå and follow the E12 to the west for a few hours to join in on our Arctic Circle Bus meet (or just drive around Haparanda): http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=58654

I have 235/70-16 on both my syncros. If the wheels take away power, then we need more power Cool

Subaru 2.5 sounds like the way to go!

Hey, you are more than welcome to our meet!!
