Looks innocent enough. I knew it was there before i started the 'smoothed arse' but didnt realize how quick i would have to re do someone else bodge patch. Why people weld a patch over rot is beyond me!

Cut that lot out and noticed more rot on the inner skin! The way they built these things is a bloody puzzle! LOL

Looking like a good job that. Mmm welding upside down, I love the way it always goes down your overall arm and sizzles for a bit...   The pain helps offsets the thrustration of crap welding and arm ache.   :)

Once again body work been put on hold agin this weekend. Been searching the bay for a while now in search of (a) a half decent rock n roll bed or (b) A nice rear bench seat i could modify to fit with hinges etc

Found a 12v reclining bench from a chevy day van on ebay and hit the bin button LOL

First up i had to make a frame for it to sit on and also so it would fold out just above engine compartment leaving room for foam etc

Small update... Upholstery turned up...
 

3M self adhesive stuff from ebay. So far all good and easy mess free 

Started one small section so far, not sure if im happy with it...



Any advice on doing corners neatly??
