dont think the landrover axles would work.
 
 GO for the narrowed beam look aswell.Shocked. only joking.
 
from what i`ve read the oe axles are very expensive to fix.
 
russel, with the bigger wheels are you getting a suitable gear ratio.

CJ's orange one was bought by some Czechs, who came over to get it.

no register or club specificly for these then, shame really as they seem even less of these than there are syncros.
 
how come www.lt-4x4.de closed down then was it due to lack of support.

I will get some photos up at some stage. I dont normaly put up photos of my projects . The few photo of my LT that are out there are either taken by Andy or by Mike Plompen when i first bought it.

David did that suspension conversion last year. His original LT front pinion gave up and the cost of getting the parts to him (Canada)were far to expensive so he decided to go unimog. I did consider something very similar by using volvo C303 axles(portal) but it is a lot of work! With the volvo axles it wouldnt have been as high on the body.
As mine is at precent it is high enough.
