1964 21 window Samba swap for a T5 Westy I have owned 'Sammy' for the past 6 years and feel it is now time to pass him on to the next lucky owner as he is'nt getting the use he deserves. Sammy is an 1964 21 window Deluxe Splitscreen model or Samba as they are better known, he is ceiling wax red over beige gray, he is MOT'd and taxed until the end of the year (tax exempt) and in full running order, ready for the next show or camping weekend He was also featured in Camper & Commercial issue 22 Bodywork, Interior Engine Running a 1600 cc aircooled engine with the added bonus of twin 36 Dellorto carbs, Petronix electronic ignition a stainless steel sports exaust and uprated to 12 volts with an alternator fitted also Running gear Gone are the reduction boxes and in is a 1303 gearbox all fitted in a Creative Engineering Im sure there is a lot Ive missed out but if you have any questions just ask, you can get me on 07856 369322 Im based on the Wirral Merseyside (ch62) Now the price, just because I dont use Sammy much it dosnt mean Im going to give him away so its set at £21,000 or very very very near offer May swop for a nice T5 Westy Now some pics |

I take it you have neither the money or a T5 so may I suggest you get on with your homework and let the big boys talk

I have thanks picked it up from Vw 2weeks ago! so yeah guess your right I don't have the money! now then about this homework maybe you should do like wise before you start asking if anyone has a T5 ( Westy ) to swap for a vehicle that's worth as you say £21k "let the bigboys talk " meaning ? Sorry I didnt mean to insult your (limited) intelligence but I was wondering who had made you the price fixer for this forum If I want to put up a swap on here, I dont need you or anyone else commenting on the deal unless you want to swap, which you have made plain you dont I can only assume you have paid over the odds for your T5 and now are trying to justify the price you paid to anyone who will listen Can I now ask that you butt out of this thread because you have no reason to be on here only to bad mouth and put your rather limited opinions across
Anyway, onwards and upwards, For Sale or Swap a 64 21 window Samba

I'm confused here - I thought that was a fair observation. T5 cali's are pricy that's for sure. I think 'nanabus was just suggesting that it might help your ad if you clarified it a bit re: swapping your smashin' samba + a bit 'o extra for a T5 maybe? |

Im sorry if peeps are confused, but I offered my Samba as a`swap for a T5, then I get a muppet telling me my Samba aint worth as much as a T5 Cali
Well Im still offering a swap and if people dont think its worth it fine, but what I dont need is some busy body sticking his unwelcome nose in where its not wanted
I re iterate 21 window Samba for sale or swap £21k or a T5 Cali
