Has anyone tried fitting Suez wheels from VW to a T3?

link

These are Touareg wheels.

They are 7.5J x 17, ET55.

I believe, but need to check, that the PCD is correct.

I assume that a 25mm spacer would give the correct offset?

I don't know if the centre bore would be big enough, or how to find out without buying one.

Basically the same fitment as the Porsche Cayenne ones I have.

PCD is 5x130 so you should be able to use Porsche adapters and a 5mm spacer at the front.

Minor 'dressing' to the upper wishbone edge may be needed though it has varied from rim model to model.

Should be OK with 40 series tyres.

The link says "Hole circle: 120/5", so I guess this wheel is available in different sizes and PCDs.

If I get the 120/5 ones, will I be able to find a way to fit them safely?

Sorry, misread this.

There are 2 PCD patterns and sizes on the Touareg in this style - 17 and 18.

The 18's are suited to 40 series tyres with Porsche pattern adapters. The 17's on 45's with the BMW style 5x120 pattern. I think this pattern is only used on early 2.5tdi models.

I guess 120.65 is not the same? From machine 7 - Wheel Adaptors, 5x112 to 5x120.65, Billet Aluminium, Studded, 25mm, Pair

ghis 235/45/17 for the front maybe abit wide,i could be wrong as i havent used that size. 205/50/17 seems to be favourite(correct rolling radius so speedo is correct). depends if you have lowered the van.

5x130 for most of them but 5x120 for the R5 TDi, don't the R5 share bits of the T5 thats why it's 5x120???
