When in a straight line my steering wheel doesn't line up.

Is it an easy job to adjust it, or will it interfere with airbags/ electrics etc?

Cheers

Guy

I had the same problem with mine; I took it back to VW 3 times to sort it before I did the job myself

It’s a easy job just disconnect the battery then pop out the air bag, the release holes for the clips that hold the air bag in place are round the back of the steering wheel then undo the bolt that holds on the wheel adjust to suit

And the airbag pushes back it to place with a click

Jumped Ship to a Vito but I hear a 2021 T6 calling, only real difference is the Vito cab is more car like.

Is it a problem that can be done on the warrenty?

It would be covered under warranty

If your not 100% comfortable about doing the job sure get the dealer to do the job Smile

I had exactly the same with my T5 Guy.

Surprise, surprise, I also went back to the dealer with this complaint, they had a couple of " go's " at it, but it was either slightly one way or slightly the other.

I could only gather from this,  incompetence aside, that the shaft must be spline or hex and this was as close as it could be.

In the end I made the adjustments to the track control arms to straighten up the wheel.

It’s a very finely splined shaft so very small adjustments can be made
