I need the cam belt changed on my 1z

Have changed the water pump and aux belts but this is outside my je ne se qua!

I pay dollar..always up for a road trip for a forumer

ahhhhh!

get some tippex mark old belt and teeth

slacken tensioner and take off that and the belt

count teeth on belt and mark new belt the same

repeat above step to make sure.....

from cam pulley fit belt and work round clockwise keeping tension on belt and lining up marks so all your slack is between bottom pulley and cam pulley - tighten new tensioner to specified tension and bobs your mothers brother.

two revolutions by hand and if all good lay some rubber down across the street!
