I'm aiming to get the '95 repainted this summer, to get rid of the stone chips and rock dings. The bumpers are black and dented, so I was wondering about body colour bumpers. I can see from yours it's definitely the way to go!
Thought I might get the front window reveals painted in satin black too, creating the illusion that they're the same size as the rears...

Just remember if importing you will be stung for 10% import duty and 17.5% vat on top of that.
And a low priced receipt wont work either as customs will then charge on the value they put on it.
I know this from experience and i had genuine receipts for everything.
They even added my shipping costs to it before adding the duties.
Customs are a law unto themselves Angry

Some ferkin' roll call this turned out to be! Where are you all?
Has anyone publicized this at (hate to say it) Volkzone (I feel dirty now) or anywhere else? I've posted it up at 80-90.

Hello-

I have a 1982 CI Homes pop top, 2 ltr aircooled in beautiful beige (which was impossible to find the paint code).

Not many SA modifications, other than  a massive water tank under neath and lots of red dust on the engine...

About to post on the main page for help on gas struts for the pop top which is completely banjaxed- think my roof is the same as the autohomes version...

Cheerio,

You definitely win the prize for earliest SA! Lots of red dust is always a givaway - I thought the '95 was bad and it has been in the UK for 5 years...Stones, dirt and gravel everywhere.
Inside and out.

Thought I'd better add my wifes 2.5 SA 8 seater microbus..

We found him in Devon in autotrader. Would welcome an exchange of info on parts. We were given some info on parts which I'd be happy to share. We are on the hunt for a new starter motor.

Been a bit slow with brick-yard of late because of my latest project...

Starter motor is the same as  Audi 2.2 or 2.3 or passat (86 to 90) 2L 5 cylinder. An LT 6 cylinder
diesel will fit as-well.
