Being a VW camper base, it came with 17" steel wheels, captains seats, coloured bumpers, sensors front and rear, tinted windows, etc. Being a lwb, the rear seat is wide enough for our 3 brats, in belts! (Something that a California can't do). Roof bars for the boards (yes, another windsurfer) and bike rack for the, er, bikes.

Previous Transporters: T4 2.4 lwb and T3 1.9 petrol.

Still got the camper, which is still bog standard. And have now bought a 2008 T30 130 swb kombi tiptronic with twin sliding doors and 16" alloys. Also bog standard. At the moment...

Hi all Alonline here in Belfast.

I run two 130 T28 swb and one 140 T28 swb

All with metallic paint.

They average around £100 a week in fuel each.

Is it just me or there is a disturbing collection of plumbers and gas engineers like me on this forum?

How much can you shift with a Transporter?

Here's one of the fleet a T28 SWB 140 horses, no mods other than, r/rack, ply lining, hands free etc.
Always mean to get a set of 18 - 20 alloys but need someone to explain all the jargon?
On the back a 16ft x 6ft Ivor williams trailer full of furniture, back crammed full of tools, roof full of ladders.
This was me going to take pocession of my Lake side hide away in Fermanagh on 5 acres.
The others are T5 SWB 130.

Hi Rich here and driving a 54 plate swb shuttle in red, love the space it offers, especially when youngest child was in a pushchair it fitted in the boot without folding it down.
reliable workhorse, cheap to run

Also drive a 12 plate caddy in white, lovely little motor good on fuel.

Before there is a comment there is no 140 slot?

They have been about 3+years now or do we just count them as 130?
