hi there,

Does anyone know the procedure for registering a German LT28 in the UK?

I presume a valid mot is required but I can't imagine this can be done without a registration so gets a bit chicken-and-egg!

If anyone has done this and can let me know the steps out would appreciated.

Cheers

MOT using the VIN and then complete import forms from DVLA. Very simple, just tell the MOT station that it's an import and they'll input all the details.

Am I wrong?
I thought MOT stations were all closed under Covid-19 restrictions and all current MOT's had been extended by 6 months. All good it you already had an MOT but not so great if you wanted to get something back on the road...

MOT stations can still open, but it is up to the operator whether to do so.

The six month extension is to cover you if your local garage has decided to close.
