Always on the look-out for other LT owners on my travels, here are a couple I spotted recently

Spotted at Green Man in Brecon, Wales

Spotted yesterday in Eastbourne, Sussex

Wondered if anyone here owned or knew of these vans?

I saw this one in North Wales (near Dolgellau) a couple of weekends back - anybody recognise it?
Mid engined, 6 cylinder, turbocharged 2 seater - it can only be a VW LT!

You know that 'thing', where you get a rare car, and suddenly you start seeing them everywhere, well, I was saying to my wife a few days ago that the LT is the first vehicle I have owned in over 20 years where I have never started seeing them about once I owned one - in fact, I have not seen one for months.

Today, I saw a pretty much mint, white G reg pickup truck LT35 in Knaresborough, a C reg battered old LT28 horsebox in Pannal and a bloody battered N reg luton LT35 van/horsebox in Seacroft, Leeds.

I'm starting to take the camera out with me to work tomorrow! LT spotting FTW!

It was the same, when I got mine. I didnae spot any for ages. Then I spotted one that lived about 10 mins walk from my house and, since then, have probably seen only about a half dozen in the two or three years since I got mine.

I don't think they're quite as rare as hens' teeth or rocking horse poo, but are certainly rare enough that when you see one it is a mildly noteworthy event [or does that just make me sound a bit sad?]

Ditto.

Though I did spot three on Kefalonia in August (one Swiss LT35 camper and two apparently local ones that didn't seem to have moved in a while), which suggests a greater population density in the further flung bits of Europe.

?Could be a new game for the 'kids'?

?How many LTs per square mile?

Kefalonia is, according to Wiki 302 square miles, that is 100.67/sq/mile.

Nope, I'm bored already,.....and very sad.Embarrassed UK 94060 square miles.

100 per square mile? Don't you mean 0.001?

I'll get my coat.

Sorry for my crappy maths this morning.

1LT/ 100.67 square miles.

That's better.

Littl'un is doing a catch up maths course for college and I am trying to remember how to do homework again.

Back to topic now.
