Hello!

I have quite allot of play in my rear axle, if I grab the prop shaft en turn it there is quite a bit where there is nothing going on inside the rear axle. I can do the same by putting her in gear and turning one of the wheels when the opposite wheel is in the ground. The play is internal, and not visible from the outside.

Any ideas of what it could be? Is it the gears in the diff maybe? Can they be shimmed together for a better fit or will I need a new diff? I have not dared open it yet so I cant tell if it is broken or worn. Anyone have experience on this?
