Dear learn-ed colleagues...

Facing a T2 restoration failure, I'm now looking at putting in a subaru engine.

Anybody with any real-life experience and recommendations please?

I've looked at some options which require your original (and therefore 4-speed) gearbox and they also piggy-back a wiring loom.

What else is out there which might give me 5 gears, or more!

Where about's are you? I know a guy in Brum who has done a few.
