Hi Guys,

Can you recommend anyone in South Wales, my Audi A6 2.5tdi won't rev over 3k.
I'm changing the cheaper sensors myself, coolant temp etc, but will probably need an expert diagnosis.
Have VCDS and it only shows 1 error code - 00575 Intake manifold pressure, 11-10 Control limit not reached.

Cheers
Andy

That’s in limp mode due to intake boost leaks / intercooler failure I’d guess?

Not happy for sure, have vac tubing on the way, will change every bit I can find, also have coolant and oil sensors ordered.
Don't want someone who changes very expensive parts until it's fixed or not, you just get the bills.
Haven't dismantled the turbo, but the VNT mechanism moves fine by hand.

That failure code should originating from your map sensor
Manifold absolute pressure
It will be situated on your turbo to intake run
As suggested could be the pipes are leaking thus no pressure reading or variable vane turbo is sticky thus over boosting
Both will trigger limp mode
The sensor it self could be at fault
Good luck

That code certainly indicates not enough boost achieved when related to boost expected. Could be vacuum lines as stated boost hoses to inlet manifold split/leaking /leaking intercooler or possibly failed Vnt vacuum can on turbo. Does the vnt arm move approx 15mm to its 'stop'when engine started?
Other possibilities could be a defective N75 valve meaning your turbo would be basically doing not a lot with no control over turbo nozzle ring. Plenty of them in local scrapyards .

Thanks for the replies guys, got sent the wrong size vac tubing so not much progress so far.
Hopefully tomorrow will have VCDS & Elsawin running on an old laptop, and will be doing some graphs which might narrow things down a bit.
I've identified some of the sensors and valves but there are shed loads of em.
