Hi
I have a 1992 2.4 aab diesel that has developed a fault with the fan
The waterpump, stat have been replaced along with the timing belt and auxillary belts
The van was running fine before it appears that there was no stat in the van when they put the new stat in.
After this when the vans temp gets upto just below half way the fan kicks in, however the fan wont switch except when you turn of the engine then after a few mins the fan kicks in and doesn't turn of e.t.c very annoying!
Does anyone know what it could be might it be the fan control unit or a temp switch on the radiator or summut else
Can anyone help
