Windscreen washers not working.
The fuse is okay and the wipers are working but nothing at all when I lift the stalk to wash the screen. Any ideas what the problem might be?

I had the same issue and the problem was dirty contacts on the stalk.

If memory serves me correctly I had to remove the steering wheel (one nut) but someone else might remember.

The bottle sit under the bus and if remember correct you can excess it without removing anything, test with a test-light if the motor receive power. If it gets power and do not turn the motor is broken.
If it do not gets power the problem is most probably the switch on the steering column.

If the little motor runs, you will be able to hear it, the jets are most probably blocked.

This. I did the same on mine as the washer would only work with the wipers on full-flap :D
Easy enough job with a bit of wire wool. Worth doing all the contacts on both stalks whilst you're there - I guarantee they'll need doing just after you've out the wheel back on LOL
