Any ideas on alternator mounting and pulley setup on an ex A4 AFN at 50deg? I have to drop the engine by 40mm so wondered if the B5 platform bracket will now clear the lid. I have seen a few ideas on the web but things move on and I wondered what are the latest ideas. I'm not running PAS.

Will cut down some photos to post, I tried the FWD alternator bracket but dont like the idea of cutting the block so I have gone for a cut down A4 Passat pump/ alt mount, with a T4 idler instead of a power steering pump to get the belt wrap right. Will post some photos when its all welded up but looks fairly compact.
