Anybody got an idea of what axle code our Florida is likely to have?

Engine - 1G (2.4 TD. straight six)
Gearbox - AOW
LT28

Unable to determine axle though... casing corroded too much to work it out.

Any thoughts or previous knowledge anyone?

A process of elimination starts here, though I guess you have already looked.

?Does the M/PR Code help?

The colour of the speedometer drive would narrow it down further.

Your 1G was in use from 1988

It's a 1991 - and indeed I did have a look at that page - great resource. But the axle case is too corroded to make out codes.

I even made the boy get under there to find it 'cos he'd have more room but I had to let him out after he moaned about too much WD40 I his eyes
I've got the VIN sticker in the service book, but can't figure it out from the M codes either - bloody frustrating!

I can Marius, I have the service book too and it's pasted in the front.

Image as follows - I've tried working out the codes, but failed so far!

So, the Flo is at the garage having some love and attention lavished upon it and it's got me back onto the axle questions.

I'm going to pop down while it's on the ramp and have another shot at getting a code off the axle, but I'm not confident based on previous experience.

Any other thoughts anyone? Decoding that decal has beaten me....
