I'm getting the all too familiar "unfeasible brake signal" error, I've just changed the switch, set it as advised but still getting flashing glow plug light, brake lights work ok so now I'm stumped, the reversing light doesn't work though, would that have any effect?,

Could be your reverse lights switch has failed. It's on top of the gearbox and can be reached from the front leaning into the bonnet. Its about a tenner for a replacement from brickwerks. Not a difficult job, I did mine on the campsite on holiday last year. Good luck
