Steels!  All day long.  I've always thought your van looked mint with those steels. Thumbs Up

hah, cheers fellas!
that pic was taken about 18 months ago so unfortunately the old bus isn't looking quite so sweet at the moment! seams are coming through a bit and quite a bit of the silver has come off the steelies leaving them looking a bit shabby... really need to whip them off and give them a paint but it's going to have to wait until spring now as i don't have a garage.

anyone want to buy a set of alloys!

What paint do you use on the steels, my spare sets of wheels are beginning to look a bit shabby, that and the apprentices always roll the wheels down on their face on the ground and not the back no matter how many times I tell them.

One complained, "Changing wheels isn't plumbing!" I answered, "No its life training so if you ever muster enough brain cells to pass a driving test and are driving and get a puncture you won't have to call Mummy to come and change it!"

^WHS.

Perfectly OK alloys, but don't suit a T3. IMHO Smile

might keep them for the octavia... same pcd, et35.
or maybe sell them.
or refurb them then sell them.
or refurb them and keep them.
or just leave them in a pile in the garden until I get shouted at.

If you dont mind, what steels are those? Im going through same dilemma. Steels, banding my steels, or alloys. IMO your bus looks better with the steels than those alloys.

thanks. I've come to the same conclusion!
the alloys are destined for the Octavia possibly in gloss black...

the steels are merc c class I think.
16x7.5 et42 with spacers and stud conversion.
you can get 16 inch merc steels in better et so you won't need the spacers or stud conversion though... I think Elvis had some on his crewy.

I having the same dilemma to only I have 18" merc amg monoblocks at the mo. I wanna drop it 70mm (currently 55mm) but I don't know weather to get 16" alloys or banded 16" steels!

Ps answer to "shapeys" original question I like the alloys.
