they wont upload for some reason, getting quite annoying.....

umm first on the cards was to get rid of all those horrible stickers all over it. so in the process of that, and also just sorting out the rust at the moment.

and also ripped out the interior ..... getting ready to build a new one up, however... im not putting a cooker or things like that in , just gonna have another long seat facing the sliding door with a fridge built into it :)

oo and a respray.......

hey everyone! havnt been on here for a while.

I need your help though......

Im thinking about selling up, but i have no idea how much its worth. Its a 1.9 petrol engine.
It looks pretty much the same, current list includes:
- merc 15hole alloy wheels, (not fitted, currently in primer, ready for colour sold with the van)
- Cream and brown piped interior fitted cushions
- Saab front seats
- full laminate flooring
- tinted rear lights
- new headlights
- new exhaust system
- air horn
- 3/4 rnr bed
- New battery
with a years mot and tax.
and some recent welding to side window frames.
Mileage is currently at 132k

Things it doesnt have:
- radio/speakers (have them but not fitted, sold with the van)
- leisure battery ( so no interior lighting apart from a few JML push lights)

So I was wondering wether you guys could help me come up with a figure that sounds reasonable

Roughly 3000-4000, best thing is to put it on ebay with just a start price of what you're happy to get and anything over that is a bonus. Start it on a Thursday night and let it run for 10 days. That way you get 2 weekends when most people are online

Its being kept, love it too much. but the plans now include getting rid of the high top and replacing it with either a normal roof, a ragtop sunroof, or a fibreglass/glass roof! opinions are always welcome!

Have come to the conclusion that I like the hightop (at the moment). Ive just had the van back from a lengthy stay at my local garage, too much work to list.... but the van is running so sweet now, a million times better than what it used to be like.

So after all of this work was completed I decided that I needed to update my 'agreed valuation' with the insurers. so went out to take a few pictures. Thought that some of you here may like to see my hard work.

cheers, as always, comments welcome!

thanks for looking, sorry there's alot!

in the process of spraying the bumpers!, theyre in a state!

Its taken alot of hard work but now its slowly becoming a nice van! :)
I provided the foam, so the custom covers for all the seats came to about £100odd...... iirc.

not sure what to do next, any ideas?

HIHI everyone! Long time since ive been on here. Lost interest in the van for a couple of months due to Uni work and stuff. However Im in my final year now and some big plans are coming this way after i (hopefully) graduate!

A couple of Months ago I went to a scrappy to see if i could find a few things, tailgate badge etc...., only to come back to a large and very deep scratch in my sliding door, Caused by a recovery lorrys loading platform- needless to say the company denied everything. AngryAngryAngryAngry
So after that was fixed, my two housemates bought me some shiny new hubcaps to cheer me up, then that same day, a surfing accident put me out of driving it for a couple of months.... Then my course started again, so i didnt really have time to drive it or work on it!

But in a few months time ill be woking on it day and night! (Offers of help might be needed LOL)

So plans for the big green van are:

Not so green! - respray in a type of blue i think (open to suggestions)

Engine transplant - probably something audi

Lowering

Removal of the hightop - havent decided wether or not to weld in a new roof, put a sunroof in or a 'ragtop'

Full audio installation

roof rack for boards and bikes

maybe 'big bumpers'

General tidying up

Lots of work, and lots of money Cry!!!

Anyway Over summer I did manage to go camping in it once my hand had recovered, Here are some pictures......

(the darker green on the panel is where the paint shop messed up the codes I gave them)Cry

yes, years ago and they were shite.  Save the money for something more useful like whores and coke.  Stock height is the new lowered.
