I can't quite put my finger on it but for some reason I'm loving Dokas and single cabs, I kind of wish I had a use for one to justify buying one.

I managed to find myself a doka yesterday advertised in the local paper. 900 notes and pretty straight too.
Got straight on the phone and was over to see it 20 minutes after that and the bugger had just sold it.Angry

Its had a deposit paid but if the new owner doesn't come with the full cash in the next few days its mine. Fingers crossed.

No afters yet, as I've been too busy sorting the mechanical & fuel bits to start on the rust, body and respray - but it's definitely a keeper! Wink

Shocking wheels have since been sold, (someone actually paid money for those Shocked), and now just running on stock steelies.

Don't think so mate. It was sat on a farm for the last two years or so after the owner died and only went back on the road at the back end of last year. (I used to own it, and imported it from Germany in 2000). Had a new 2.1 fitted while I had it, only done 12,000 kms since Tongue

Think it was converted by the German I bought it off, cos it's the earliest water cooled I've ever seen?

I can't really afford a 500 mile round trip just to look at one then the cost to hire a trailer and something to pull it with plus another 500 mile round trip to pick it up.

How does it attach below the window?
