Increased work committments currently mean we have less time to motorhome so we have decided to put our Volkswagen T4 Holdsworth Valentine Special up for sale.

Internally it comes fitted with Electrolux 3-way fridge, Propex blown air heater, Gas/240V water heater, 3 ring gas hob, grill, gas oven, Thetford cassette toilet (new cassette installed Oct 2008), Digital flat screen TV (240V/12V), Status TV aerial, 2 x 240V sockets & 1 x 12V socket, courtesy entrance light in footwell. 6 cupboards at high level, wardrobe(fitted with lift out shelves) and cocktail cabinet.

L-shaped lounge converts to double bed with simple slide out action and overcab provides space for further 2 beds, overcab can slide away to provide easier access to cab. Overcab is accessed by wooden attachable ladder and has protection nets and cutains.

Flyscreens and curtains are fitted to all windows with blinds fitted to all but the two overcab windows. Smoke alarm and fire extinguisher fitted.

Externally the van is equipped with 2 bike Fiamma cycle carrier, rear ladder, roofrack and Fiamma topbox. Also fitted are reversing sensor, external 240V and 12V sockets, entrance step and windout Fiamma awning. The gas locker has space for two gas cylinders and is fitted with a regulator for a Camping Gaz cylinder (1 used supplied) and has had a new lock fitted in summer 2009.

The engine is the popular 1.9 TD which had a £1000 overhaul winter 2008. Also has new water pump fitted Oct 2008. Vehicle battery was replaced April 2007. Leisure battery (85Ah) is also located in engine compartment.

Their is minor evidence of slight damp ingress in ceiling however this does not appear to have worsened during our ownership.

It is currently stored under cover with my brother in law and can be viewed at any time by arrangement in Bordon, Hampshire, GU35.

This motorhome has served us extremely well taking us to the South of France, the Outer Hebrides and last summer to Croatia returning via the Simplon Pass between Italy and Switzerland. We have also had many weekends around the South of England including two at Vanfest.
