ok basicly i`m looking for contacts, forums or links that can put me in touch with people that run competitive beetles in motorsport or companys that could help price and build the componantry to build such a car.
 
haven`t messed with bugs for nearly 20 yrs so i`m a bit out of touch.

there is a guy on demondubs forum that races a baja bug not sure what level but he may have some idea hope this helps a little !

just go to Volkszone, theres loads of quick bugs on there.

Straight line stuff mainly, but I'm sure there will be someone thats managed to make one go around corners?

Stateside tunning used to run a beetle rally car I think. Anyway he'll be able to make you a quick engine.

That'll be Phil Unsworth. His bug is set up for straight line drag type racing. It uses N2O for that extra boost, as do most of those cars.
