The new 17 " repros are pretty decent although if your going to use them daily/during the winter you may find you have problems with the laquer and paint peeling. They have the advantage of already being in 5 X112 so no worries about switching to Porsche brakes or spacers. For £600 you are heading into genuine Fuch territory but at that price they'd probably need a refurb anyway.
Ive seen a few of these fitted and they look well Smile

Thats exactly my experience too.

They'll lok good for exactly 8 days then they look like an old metal dustbin lid.

I really dont think they deserve to be in business, but will contunue to be as long as people are happy to put up with shit service and an inferior product to save a few quid

I noticed you said you are new to the whole T3 thing.  For info if it's 17s your after and a cheap fix without looking shit get some Mercedes wheels.  I picked up a set of 17s off ebay for £100.  They are off a 500SLK and were 5x112 et 35 so fit perfect.  All you have to do is is run a larger drill bit through each hole to take the larger VW bolts.

Bonus is they are genuine Mercedes german quality and not made from monkey metal.
