Hi Folks,

Here's the link to the map showing locations of our bunch.

http://www.zeemaps.com/map.do?group=101434 - http://www.zeemaps.com/map.do?group=101434

For security if you wish to add your location just stick to Towns.

There was a suggestion that a certain colour could be used if you were willing to help out with  repairs etc so how about a yellow marker, cos that colour hasn't been used yet.

Couple of tips for everyone

To change your marker colour

click on your marker and then you will see your username highlighted.
click on this and then you get to edit the details.

To move or delete a marker

If you click 'Unlock' at the top right, then type in 'ltowners' as the key, it'll unlock the admin features and markers can be moved around and edited.

Cheers

Andy

Sorry mate can't take credit for starting the map so don't know who's on it or who's' not.
Like bb says, click on the add button and go from there.

P.S. its easier if you zoom in to where you live before you add your marker.
Any problems, come back to us and we'll help you out.

I look awfully lonely there. You have to scroll the map all the way over to the left to find my marker. Doesn't surprise me to be the only one in this continent. There are few LT's in US. I think there is at least one other fellow from the US on this Forum.

Added mine, near surfzone in Church Crookham.  There's another LT converted to a camper near me, 'LT Owners club' sticker on the front.  It hadn't moved for years but about a month ago I noticed it parked the other way round.  Whose is it?

Well we're heading off in our LT on Sunday, for a weeks bodyboarding and general dossing about in Cornwall. Its the Run to the Sun so we were lucky to get in on a site at the last moment. We usually stay at Blue Hills campsite near Perranporth but they were full so its Goldrevy this time.
We live in Kingston now so I guess we're gonna head down towards the M3 then A303 before we join the A30. Betty doesn't much like motorways being a 4 speed, petrol but she'll happily buzz along A roads at a steady 50 mph or so.  It's about a 265 mile journey so I'll be happy enough if we can average 40mph or so with the odd loo break. 6 or 7 hours is leisurely enough.
I'm going to give her a mini-service and gap the points and plugs although electronic ignition would be nice. Unfortunately I just can't afford it right now but if anyone hears of a second hand set-up going I'd appreciate a heads up. I'd like to find a Weber carb' too as the Solex has never been a fave of mine.
Anyway, we're taking the camera so hopefully we'll keep you updated with lots of pictures of us and our trusty LT enjoying the blazing sunshine and awesome waves! We can dream can't we? Ying Yang

Just back from Cornish adventures! Weather and the surf was fantastic! The new look of Betty was welcomed by all judging from the responses we got. I did have to renew the plugs, points, leads etc when Betty threw a hissy fit but once done she was back to her ever plodding self again. Certainly renewed my love of the LT too.... she's brilliant and actually a joy to stay in.
Anyway, here's some photographs of the frolics we had....

Hi all,

Lovin the map!  Just joined as I've just broken my VW cherry with a 94 LT, former minibus with 40k genuine miles Smile. (Photos to follow shortly)

Sailed through MOT after being stood for 6 months - now the hard work begins, as my brief is to seat and sleep 6!  (Naturally, got the seats sorted, but sleeping may be a challenge as it's a low topCry.

Great to see there's a forum for the bigger vans!

Hello.

Just added my van. Finally after 15 months of repairs and reform we did the 1st trip this weekend. Its a 1991 LT35 2.4D camper.
We live in Gibraltar. I found the van in Spain 18 months back. Its originally from the UK van so RHD.
I would add a pic but the 100KB max limit seems very small. Any suggestions as my pics about 400-700KB?

Posted By: AndyT
Date Posted: 12 Jul 15 at 22:38
Yup, provide a link to pics on mediafire/photobucket etc.
Alternatively re-size or reduce quality, not hard to do but a pain if you have loads of pics.
Any problems just ask, loads of people have had the same issue and will help.
