Hi everyone,

in my search to find parts for my van i stumbled across this site so hopefully one of you may be able to point me in the right direction!

My van is ex german police that was imported by its former owner but being left hand drive its proving hard to find some parts - particually a speedo cable and interior sliding door handle (offside). Main dealers have drawn a blank on these bits so i need to find a specialist i guess.

Any suggestions are welcomed!

Try on http://www.oscaro.com - www.oscaro.com for the speedo cable and other bits, while for the slidind door handle you can try on VW.
The site http://www.vagcat.com - www.vagcat.com has the entire ETKA online so you can check if the part is still available from VW. Vagcat requires a free registration to browse the catalog.

Hi Dedo,

thanks for the links - oscaro seems like it could be a winner for the speedo cable, once i got my french language skills together i managed an enquirey (i think..) and the VAG catalogue confirmed the cable i need is no longer produced by themselves!! The search continues.. Thanks for giving me a starting point though.

Any more ideas or if anyone knows of a lhd in a scrapyard all pointers greatfully received!
