Get some pics up when you get it. What you using it for? I want to get one for my bird as our 2nd car but she hates them. She has no taste.

Saw an awesome pimped one on the A46 today heading towards Newark.

Good job it's got a full bulkhead to keep the dust off the leather.

I am waiting so patiently. I've been really good. I've made all the beds, done the breakfast dishes, put the rabbit out in the garden, and there's still no sign of my van. Cry

Tony - what does the Caddy go like compared to your old T5 Sportline ?

Obviously I haven't really booted it yet as it's done no mileage, but, the power delivery is really smooth and less aggressive than my T5. It's really quiet too in the cab because of the full bulkhead. I'm going to have to watch my speed though because you really don't realize how fast you are going in it. I miss not having arm rests. The ride is really comfortable, i presume that's as it's a car derived van. I'd like to lower it by maybe 40 or 50mm but the side bars and front spoiler are quite low as it is.

How's the new van after a month-ish then Tony...are you getting fond of it or still eyeing up T5's?

Wish I'd never bought it. As soon as I can afford it i'm getting another T5.
The side loading doors aren't wide enough.
There are no armrests.
From the side, it looks like a hearse.
It only has 2 seats.
It's not a T5
It's not a T5
It's not a T5
Did I mention it's not a T5?
I have only cleaned it 3 times in 6 weeks. When I had my T5 Sportline it  got cleaned 7 times in the first 2 weeks. This is my subconscious telling me I'm not happy with it.

I did wonder how you'd manage when I saw you were a dry liner.
Mate who works with me most of the time is a plasterer..he had a Caddy van, always wanted to use my T5 when we did work together as his was awkward to get all the kit into...When I bought my Sportline he upgraded to my old 130 Trendline. He loves it and wants my current van when I change it.....except they don't make what i'll want next ...... YET.

Realistically, I reckon it'll be a year before i'll have enough saved to change it. If I sell it now, i'll really take a hit with the depreciation. I think you are waiting for what I am waiting for, a T5.1 with a TDI badge that is all red!
